Job Description

We are looking for a business development executive to join our inbound marketing agency, helping us to grow our team and our client base. Six & Flow is a growth agency working primarily in digital, with massive ambitions that see us opening offices in London & North America.For all of our work, the end goal is always to create positive ROI for our clients. We help them grow.We partner with our clients. We don’t just provide services, which is why it’s important the clients are the right fit for us, and us for them. We get involved from beginning to end so for us it’s important to bring on the right clients that fit our business, the way we work and that we feel we can offer them real value.Our clients (new and old) all fit the following mould:

We work as both a retained agency and also as a venture marketing agency. We love startups and entrepreneurs so if it’s something we can see some real potential in or if it really excites us, we love to get involved.

The role:

We are looking for a Business Development Executive (BDE) who can support and develop the Six & Flow proposition. Working with our Senior Business Development Manager, the BDE will be responsible for connecting with new prospects, qualifying them, establishing rapport and booking latter stage sales calls for the Senior BDM. Essentially, converting leads into opportunities.

This is a hugely important role for us. In many cases, you’ll be the first point of contact with new clients and it will be your role to develop and nurture those contacts into real sales opportunities.We practice what we preach, we generate our own inbound leads – these are there to be converted, however, you will be expected to self-source prospects too.

Ideally you will have:

  • At least 1 year full-time corporate sales experience OR a graduate from a marketing or business management course;
  • A passion for sales, marketing and building relationships;
  • A solid understanding of marketing principles, particularly content and inbound marketing;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work with clients, prospects and partners by telephone, email and in person;
  • High energy
  • Positive Attitude
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively
  • Motivation, drive and a self-starting attitude
  • Degree or relevant apprenticeship education
  • 'Tech savvy' - we use a lot of tools in our sales process

Key responsibilities:

  • Generate new business opportunities
  • Achieve monthly quotas of qualified opportunities and meetings
  • Actively segment prospect lists
  • Logging and coordinating all sales activity in a CRM system
  • Engaging with inbound leads
  • Outbound prospecting in defined sectors

Salary:

£20,000 + monthly commission (OTE £25,000)
