Why every UK HubSpot partner should take a trip to INBOUND17

Written by Alice | 16 March 2017

Six & Flow is a UK HubSpot gold partner, so naturally we’re very eager to get back over to Boston and experience everything that INBOUND 2017 has to offer. With the event running from the 25th to the 28th September this year, there’s only six months to go! If you’re still undecided, here’s a handful of good reasons to attend.

Autumn in Boston

Inbound17 is set for late September, so things will take an autumnal turn. Think warmer weather, longer light evenings and more golden leaves than last year’s Inbound. Hurrah!

There’s plenty to do around the city too. The Boston Red Sox are playing at Fenway Park every evening throughout Inbound17, and if you arrive a day early, Saturday 24th September is Free Museum Day as part of Smithsonian Magazine's nationwide celebration. The Six & Flow team even enjoyed an improv show on our last visit, despite none of our suggestions being accepted. Maybe our British humour didn’t quite translate?

Meet your marketing heroes

As a UK HubSpot partner, we try to keep up with the latest thoughts on industry advances. That’s why we were so excited to hear from marketing experts like HubSpot co-founders Brian Halligan and Dharmesh Shah and serial entrepreneur Gary Vaynerchuk.

With plenty of keynote speakers and breakout sessions to choose from, you can learn from the best in the industry, and get inspired to do more with your own marketing efforts.

Inbound marketing moves fast

Just because you attended Inbound last year doesn’t mean you can slack off in 2017. Marketing trends move at an incredible rate, as consumer preferences continually evolve and new social and content platforms compete for attention.

Last year, we learnt the importance that video marketing would hold in the future, and its safe to say this trend is exploding in popularity. We can’t wait to find out what trends are tipped for greatness in 2018 and beyond.

There’s so much to learn

One UK HubSpot partner agency, four team members, twelve food truck lunches, dozens of sessions, countless coffees, and just a couple of drinks at the HubSpot happy hour. Inbound16 was a rollercoaster of a week.

Last year we were running around Boston Conference Centre constantly, with the odd stop for a free laptop charge or shoulder massage in the brilliantly laid-out main hall. If you’re concerned about value for money, leave those worries at the door – this event is jam-packed with things to do.

Give Brexit a bashing

No, seriously. With Theresa May’s finger poised to push the Article 50 button, the UK economy is waiting with bated breath to see what happens. No one is certain of the long term impact just yet, but what better time to re-evaluate your own marketing strategy?

We like to think that being a UK HubSpot gold partner gives us an important competitive advantage, both for ourselves and our clients. Six & Flow are well-trained in knowing what makes leads tick, and how to structure lead nurturing campaigns to achieve the best results.

As political and economic uncertainty rumbles, we’re confident that there are still opportunities to be had by clever companies with truly valuable offerings. What’s needed now is a good understanding of how to approach potential customers and market your product in this changing environment.

Want to talk to a UK HubSpot gold partner a bit closer to home?

Although we think that Inbound is the cat’s pyjamas, we appreciate that not everyone can get out from ol’ Blighty to Boston. As a token consolation though, we’re more than happy for you to visit Six & Flow in Manchester!

We’ve been a UK HubSpot partner since the early days of Six & Flow starting up as an agency, and as we’ve grown HubSpot have been there supporting us and helping to delight our customers with innovative and effective inbound marketing campaigns.
