We are looking for a business development manager to join our inbound marketing agency, helping us grow our team.

The role:

We are looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) who can support and develop the Six & Flow proposition. Working with our Managing Director, the BDM will work hand in hand with our marketing and delivery teams to support the inbound sale of Six & Flow’s service. Essentially, converting leads into clients.

This is a hugely important role for us. In many cases, you’ll be the first point of contact with new clients and it will be your role to develop and nurture those contacts into clients.

We practice what we preach, we generate our own inbound leads – these are there to be converted, however, you will be expected to self-source contacts too.

Ideally you will have:

  • 1 to 3 years full-time corporate sales experience;
  • A passion for sales, marketing, building relationships and great content;
  • A solid understanding of marketing principles, particularly content and inbound marketing;
  • An excellent understanding of lead generation and management principles;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work with clients, prospects and partners by telephone, email and in person;
  • Sound commercial acumen with an understanding of the sales process and a willingness to learn the pricing and promotion of new products and services

  • Motivation, drive and a self-starting attitude
  • Degree educated
  • Great verbal and written communication skills

Key responsibilities:

  • Generate new business opportunities
  • Write proposals and set new business meetings for senior staff where necessary
  • Achieve monthly quotas of qualified opportunities and closed business
  • Actively segment prospect lists
  • Logging and coordinating all sales activity in a CRM system
  • Working with the marketing team to setup and managing lead nurturing workflows
  • Outbound prospecting in defined sectors
