Inbound 2020: What's changed and which speakers you need to hear from

Written by Rose | 23 August 2020

Being a HubSpot diamond partner agency has its perks… one of them is having the chance to go to HubSpot’s Inbound conference in Boston. Inbound is a great opportunity to find out the juicy insights and updates before they go out to the wider world but also to learn things about HubSpot and inbound marketing that you didn’t know before.

Although it’s a fun week eating all the American food, hanging out with your colleagues and getting to know them a little better over a beer or two, you are there for the learning.

As I’m sure you’re aware… this year it’s had to change due to the current pandemic. But that doesn’t mean we can’t attend virtually, most of us have been experiencing work digitally for the past few months anyway, so I thought we’d share why you should still attend Inbound 2020.

What’s changed about Inbound 2020

Besides the obvious of Inbound 2020 being online, many of this year’s sessions will be a combination of pre-recorded and live content. Some of the session types you can attend this year include Spotlights, Education Sessions, Ask Me Anythings, HubSpot Case Studies and Meetups.

Spotlight: sessions feature big names giving inspirational addresses. They’re 30 minutes long and will be a mix of live and pre-recorded.

Education sessions: the cornerstone of INBOUND. They help attendees expand their knowledge of marketing, sales and customer success topics and provide actionable insights viewers can implement into their day-to-day work. These will be 30-minute pre-recorded lessons followed by 25-min live Q&A.

Ask Me Anythings: offer an opportunity to get your questions answered by industry experts. These are live 30-minute Q&As covering topics ranging from SEO to sales strategy to branding to A/B testing

Audio-only content: in between the live sessions and on-demand video talks, INBOUND attendees can take a break from screen-time with audio-only content.

Meetup sessions: making sure the networking opportunities aren’t going away just because the event is happening digitally.
