We are looking for a Business Development Manager, based out of Toronto Canada, to join our inbound marketing agency , helping us to grow our team and our North American client base. Six & Flow is a growth agency working primarily in digital, with massive ambitions that see us opening offices in North America.

The role:

We are looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) who can support and develop the Six & Flow proposition. Working as part of our Growth Team , the BDM will be responsible for connecting with new prospects, qualifying them, establishing rapport and ultimately, closing business into sales. Essentially, converting leads into opportunities and opportunities into clients.

This is a hugely important role for us. In many cases, you’ll be the first point of contact with new clients and it will be your role to develop and nurture those contacts into real sales opportunities.

We practice what we preach, we generate our own inbound leads – these are there to be converted (and there's a lot of them). However, you will be expected to self-sourced prospects too.

Ideally you will have:

  • At least 3-year full-time corporate sales experience;
  • A passion for sales, marketing and building relationships;
  • A solid understanding of marketing principles, particularly content and inbound marketing;
  • Highly 'Tech savvy' - we use a lot of tools in our sales process so you’ll need to keep up 
  • Understanding of Hubspot or other CRM is a must 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work with clients, prospects and partners by telephone, email and in person;
  • Knowledge of market trends that allow us to offer the best solutions for our clients
  • High energy & Positive attitude
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively
  • Motivation, drive and a self-starting attitude

Key responsibilities:

  • Generate new business opportunities
  • Achieve monthly quotas of qualified opportunities, meetings & sales
  • Actively segment and manage your prospect lists
  • Logging and coordinating all sales activity in a CRM system
  • Engaging with inbound leads via chatbot, telephone and email to name a few
  • Outbound prospecting in defined sectors
  • Attending events and representing Six & Flow as a brand

Starting salary of up to the equivalent of £37,000 GBP + quarterly uncapped commission (OTE £50,000)
