    Web Designer .

    The Role

    As a Designer at Six & Flow you will be responsible for defining requirements, visualising and creating graphics including illustrations, logos, layouts, photos and UX design. You’ll be the one to shape the visual identity of the Six & Flow brand and client work, across all digital platforms, with an ability to transform ideas into beautiful, intuitive, and functional designs.

     

    Your graphics should capture the attention of those who see them and communicate the right message. For this, you need to have a creative flair and a strong ability to translate requirements into design. You will be able to communicate well and work methodically as part of a team, with the goal to inspire and attract the right target audience for our clients. 

     

    Executing all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off, conceptualising original website design ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness to complex roadblocks.

    Duties

    • Study design briefs and determine requirements
    • Conceptualise visuals based on requirements 
    • Present ideas and explain designs and key deliverables to peers and client stakeholders
    • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas
    • Work with copywriters and creative team to produce final design
    • Work with developers to translate design ideas into a developed site/page or campaign
    • Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand, testings graphics across various media
    • Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards 

    Required Skills 

    • Design related degree or relevant demonstrable work experience
    • Extremely comfortable in all key Adobe design programs - XD, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign
    • Comfortable annotating your work to a high standard
    • Web design experience
    • Knowledge of UI design principles
    • Digital marketing experience within a similar role with good understanding of email marketing and email design
    • An outstanding portfolio of work

    Desirable Skills

    • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS
    • Animated Video
    • Video Editing

    Salary

    Between £25,000 - £30,000 depending on experience
